Latest news - We have started servicing and repairs work again. We are of course following the Government's safe practices & procedures guidelines.

Obviously it is going to be a manic time fitting in rearranging all the cancelled bookings along with ones that are also just coming up to their due dates.

Maintaining your caravan warranty

All AWS scheme supports manufacturers have said they are reviewing the situation daily but agree it is difficult to put a time frame on anything therefore will be prepared to consider each case individually in an attempt to help those affected during these uncertain times.

Bailey of Bristol have stated “we will be extending the due date of the 2020 annual vehicle service by an additional four months”

Elddis have stated “During this period, we will not penalise our customers for a late service providing the service is carried out as soon as possible once the situation is resolved. There is no longer a need to advise us of vehicles affected. We will automatically relax our rules during this period.”

Swift statement "Swift Group recognise that customers annual servicing plans for their caravan or motorhome maybe delayed, due to the ongoing impact of the COVID19 virus public restrictions. Please note that to avoid any unnecessary pressure we are allowing all customers an extra two months to complete their annual service with immediate effect, We will continue to monitor this situation.”

We would like to make you aware of the precautions Caravan Servicing 4 U will continue to take to protect our customers as well as ourselves for the foreseeable future.

We will be asking customers if they can ensure their caravan is set up with water and electricity connected and unlocked with any additional keys and wheel lock kits if necessary in the caravan ready for our arrival.

By doing this we can eliminate any unnecessary contact between ourselves.

When we have completed servicing your caravan we will leave the paperwork and the keys in your caravan unless you are not there. If that is the case we will post the keys through your letterbox after locking your caravan. We will then phone you in the evening if necessary to discuss any problems we found on the service. Also please can the hook up cable used for touring and the service book to stamp if required be available for us in the caravan.

Unfortunately due to the current situation and Government advice for the well-being and safety of our customers and ourselves we will not be servicing caravans or carrying out habitation checks on motorhomes unless they have been unoccupied for 72 hours.

Please can you leave a set of keys onsite and arrange for the work to be completed while you will not be using your caravan or motorhome. Alternatively if you prefer you can post us the keys prior to the arranged booking and we will post the keys back to you afterwards.

Payment can then be made preferably by bank transfer or you can post a cheque to us if you prefer.

We come to you at your home, on site or even where you store your caravan/motorhome for servicing or repairs and provide a callout service.

We are Dorset's only Bailey & Lunar Approved Mobile Service Agent and are authorised to undertake any warranty & servicing work on all Bailey & Lunar caravans.
